Frosties Wildlife Transfer Kits, Toyforce & other promotions for Kellogg's

A variety of promotions from Toyforce & around the World, that we haven't enough information on to feature on their own pages. Plus a special late bonus: the Frosties Wildlife Transfer Kits from 1991.

Please get in touch if you have any further news!

Coco Pops (Toyforce, 1987)

Toyforce had produced the Kellogg's Badge Kit for Kellogg's back in 1982, & in 1987 they produced several more transfer kits. This is the first of the three we know of.

Here we have an intriguing crossover. Disney Magazine (& its International equivalents) frequently used transfers as Free Gifts, & with No.93 (16th July 1987) they used the Captain Rik transfers from Kellogg's Ricicles. "Free Kellogg's Transfer Inside", as it says on the front cover.

There must be an interesting story behind that decision…

Barnabee (Toyforce, 1987)

Apparently Barnabee was the mascot for Honey Smacks at the time.

Hanna Barbera Cereal Transfers, 1970

All we have is this photo of a packet back panel.

I'm not sure whether Martin meant specifically 1970, or the whole of the 70s — or just the era. We think they were for Kellogg's, but can't be sure. You can see a good range of characters were represented, from Huckleberry Hound to Scooby Doo.

Dig 'Em Frog Smacks Kalkitos (Germany)

Thought to date from the 70s. Gillette's logo is on the sheet because, as we all know, they owned the Kalkitos brand.

APC (Gillette)

American Publishing Corporation (also known as "American Premium Corporation") were also owned by Gillette — & they were responsible for PrestoMagiX.

Kellogg's Frosties Wildlife Transfer Kits (1991)

Way past our bedtime, but by popular demand, here's a set of eight transfer kits featuring wildlife of the World.

Sorry — although I have all eight transfers, I only have four of the backgrounds! But here they are:

You could also send off for this poster, "Tony's Guide to the Endangered World", which featured all eight of the backgrounds so you could apply your transfers to the poster rather than to the individual kits.
