Storytime Doodles
Having produced sheets of transfers without a background, the next logical step was to include a background as well — since this would represent a minimal increase in production costs. And of course there would be a market for them. However, as a result of this strategy, these Storytime Doodles are in the mainstream of transfers-with-backgrounds, such as Action Transfer sets, Rub-Ons, Panoramas & so on.
Since Letraset were always keen to re-use transfers whenever the opportunity arose, very many Fun Doodles resurfaced later as Storytime Doodles.
The titles we know of so far are: GK117/2 Larry The Lamb, GK135/4 Robin Hood, Pinocchio; GK171/2 Lady & The Tramp, Bambi, Donald Duck, GK171/4 Peter Pan.
