Busy Bee Instant Picture Pack No.15: British Birds (K95)
From 1966, so Waddington's, & not by Patrick Tilley Associates. Even so, this is rather a nice set. It's possible that Frank Wheeler may have been responsible for the transfer sheet, since he says that when PTA disbanded there was still some unfinished work of which Letraset (true to form) may have made use. They are perhaps not as stylised as his Panorama transfer figures, but they show the same mastery of small-scale monochrome artwork; the question remains open for now, but compare with No.12 Wild Animal Pictures…
As for the backgrounds: no idea! They each share the same composition, & "The Wood" is rather fine.
